Sustainable energy

During their time as beacons, the seven local authorities worked together to share their good practice, going on to secure peer support funding. The result of their collaboration as beacons with Defra and DTI was ‘Getting on target’, a benchmark and toolkit for sustainable energy to support councils to evaluation and improve their practice.
